Tethering/using your phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot

What is tethering?

"Tethering" is when you use your phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot. It's a supported feature for UNREAL Mobile plans, but not all phone models support tethering. Check your phone manufacturer's user guide to see if your device supports tethering.

To enable tethering/Wi-Fi hotspot on iPhone devices:

Open up your phone's Settings application and tap on Personal Hotspot. Then, toggle the hotspot setting to On. Tap on Wi-Fi Password to manage the Wi-Fi hotspot's network name and password.

To enable tethering/Wi-Fi hotspot on an Android Pixel or Nexus phone:

Open up your phone's settings and tap on More. Then tap on Tethering & Portable Hotspot. Finally, tap Setup Wi-Fi Hotspot. You can view and edit the Wi-Fi hotspot's network name and password.

To enable tethering/Wi-Fi hotspot on other Android devices:

Open up your phone's Settings application and tap on Mobile Hotspot and Tethering. Then, tap on Mobile Hotspot. You can edit the Wi-Fi hotspot's network name and password.
