Transfer your phone number in to your UNREAL Mobile account

For customers using our Premium cellular voice service

This information applies if you're trying to bring a phone number into your UNREAL Mobile account from another carrier. 

 

Important:

  •  Please allow 60 minutes before trying to activate your eSIM.
  • Phone number transfers must be completed during activation. Ensure you have the necessary information beforehand, as numbers cannot be transferred after activation.

Transfer during the activation process

Transferring a phone number over from a different wireless carrier

You can port a phone number in from any carrier as long as you have the Account Number and PIN Number (also called the password) from that carrier.

Step 1 - Select Activate

Step 2 - Select "Code" or "Sim Card" and enter the Confirmation Code or Sim Card Number

Step 3 - Select "Keep Number"

Step 4 - Enter your Mobile Number, Account Number, and PIN Number

Step 5 - Select Start Transfer 

If all the information that you provide is accepted, the port in process can take anywhere from just a few minutes to a few hours. However, porting in a landline number can take about 14 working days.

If in doubt, please contact your current wireless provider and request your Account Number and PIN (Password) to ensure a smooth port-in process. 

 


Porting your phone number in from your Legacy UNREAL Mobile account

If you wish to bring in your existing UNREAL Mobile phone number, make sure you DO NOT cancel your old account. It must remain active in order for us to obtain your phone number. Once your number has been moved over to your UNREAL account, you may cancel your old account.

Make sure, to speak with a customer service representative and specifically request your account ID and PIN number for porting purposes. Sometimes, if you check online, there are different numbers that can be considered your “account ID” and you don’t want to get the wrong information.

Once you have that information, complete the number transfer, by selecting "Keep Number" and complete the requested information. 

Please allow up to 10 business days for the phone number transfer process to complete. Your phone number transfer may be completed sooner, if all information is entered accurately. You must wait for the phone number transfer process to finish before you setup and use your new service. You can view the status of your phone number transfer from unrealmobile.com/my-lines

After your phone number has been successfully transferred over, contact support to have your old UNREAL Mobile account cancelled. 


 

Getting a new UNREAL Mobile phone number

If you instead, wish to get a new UNREAL Mobile phone number:

Step 1 - Select Activate

Step 2 - Select "Code" or "Sim Card" and enter the Confirmation Code or Sim Card Number

 Step 3 - Select "Get New One"

Important: The Service Zip Code you enter will be used to generate your area code and your new phone number.

Step 4 - Check the "Terms & Conditions" and Select "Complete Activation"

Please Note: If you decide to get a new number, you cannot transfer one over later on. Any phone number transfer you plan to make must be completed during activation.

You will be provided with a new number based on your Service Zip Code.
